Friday ewans + brians

today we continued our animation and the lighting gavve us more problems. one week it was more red then the next so we had to start all over again. i think that if we had a proper set and our OWN camera this would have been alot easier. in brians class we did some paperwork.

today we had a short day as we had our assesment. i found this relatively easy losing only 4 marks.

Monday (Johns Class)

today in johns class we continued our animation models. this is very very timetaking as we had to do step by step and the camera lost all of our pictures so we had to start from scratch again. The lamps caused us some problems as one week we had a lamp the next we didn't. The Lamps were also making our clay melt so thet put us off a bit.

Friday (Ewans Class)

Today in ewans class we done our animation models again. we had to put our models on a hand made set and move them step by step to last 30 seconds for a animation on racism for a channel 4 competition. i was off in brians class so i had to catch up on that. In brians class we done our plansheet altough i had to do this at home i understood it quite well.

gavins Class (talk)

today in gavins class we had to do our presentation on our chosen subject. mines was on my pet bearded dragons, i found this really easy as i allready ahd alll the information i needed all i had to do was create a slideshow and make it last the specific amount of time. In Gavins other class we had to analyze the michael jackson song black or white. this was very annoying as it was 16 or more questions on the one song.

Catching up

I was obsent one day sp i had to do some catching up. We drew our models in our flip books and labeled them according to size and other measurements. We also had to save all our animation work. Althouhg we lost it we are glad we still had some on backup.

Alternatives

Flickr - Fotki - Flickr and fotki are very very similar as fotki are trying to become the best. they have all the features of flickr but not as basic.

youtube - veoh is very similar to youtube except you get a download program.

blogger - Bebo - bebo and blogger are the same although you can customize your layout more on blogger.

bbc.co.uk - talktalk homepage talk talk lets you modify their home-page to what is relevant to you as does bbc.

This is Altavista it is also a underrated search engine just like google.

This is Dogpile a children's search engine as it has good filters.

yahoo is one of the bigger search engines as it has all the usual functions.

Google is the biggest search engine as it has the best results in the quickest time. it also has good filers and image and video searches.
